In our tenth episode Paul and Peter begin with a debate about “tanking” in fantasy hockey.
Is it a good strategy, is it morally correct or appropriate, how to do it correctly and when.
If you are going to tear down your fantasy team and rebuild through the draft, be sure to time it correctly with a year that has impact superstars worth tanking for like Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews in the previous two drafts.

In the second segment they cover that by looking ahead and reviewing the 2017 Fantasy Ranking the NHL Draft article. Unlike any other draft ranking the article is a consensus ranking for the 2017 entry draft based on fantasy value.

The guys ask Steve why he ranked the following players higher than the consensus, Henri Jokiharju, Ian Mitchell, and Casey Mittelstadt. In addition they ask Steve to discuss prospects he did not rank inside his top 31 that did make the consensus ranking in Nick Suzuki, Cody Glass, Robin Salo and Matthew Strome.
