The annual Bob McKenzie interview from the draft is here! Bob and Peter chat from the Draft in Vancouver to discuss the draft and players such as Kappa Kakko, Bowen Byram, Vasili Podkolzin as well as other fantasy impact prospects including Nikita Gusev, Ryan Poehling and more.
Peter starts the podcast off by talking about how you can break into the hockey industry if you have dreams of becoming a scout. While I have not realized the dream of quitting my day job, I have picked up some very useful tips that may help you get started or make a difference.
Next up is a review of my own fantasy draft where I made seven picks in a five round prospect keeper draft. Following that is a list of some players worth drafting coming from the NCAA and Europe for your own drafts.

The CHL Import Draft wrapped up and Peter reviews three of the more interesting players selected, Martin Chromiak second overall to Kingston Frontenacs, Michel Teply fourth overall to Winnipeg Ice, and Tim Stutzle 19th to Seattle Thunderbirds.
Peter also looks ahead at what summer content you can look forward to on DobberProspects including the summer series 31-in-31 July and August editions.
Peter catches up with TSN Director of scouting at the NHL Draft in Vancouver and picks his brain on scouting tips, what to look for and what to avoid.

Episode 55 opens with Peter looking at the AHL final, and who are the top prospects from a fantasy perspective with the Chicago Wolves (Vegas) and the Charlotte Checkers (Carolina)
In the second segment Peter has a chat with the man himself, Dobber. They talk mainly about the new Fantasy Hockey Prospect Report, some of Dobbers breakout players and some general fantasy hockey tips and strategies. It's a great chat and I hope you enjoy it.

Looking ahead to the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Peter runs down his mock draft of the first round and top 31 picks.
Answering your questions, Peter ranks the top ten fantasy prospects in the 2019 NHL Draft, as well as gives you ten players you may want to rank higher on your draft list than where they are ranked heading into the draft.
Peter also looks at some of his top picks for breakout prospects that will have the biggest impact in the coming season as players you want to target to add this off season or in a fantasy draft before next season.

With the NHL Draft lottery happening tomorrow night, rather than speculate about lottery outcomes, Pete does an equally futile exercise and redrafts the first round of the 2014 NHL Draft.
